Why do I like this brand?
They are well made with high quality suede / leather. All their shoes are made in Italy! I wore mine (3 pairs) for 3 winters, and they are still in an excellent conditions. They are super comfy, and you won't even feel the heels (nearly 4'' with platform!). I wore mine whenever I decided to shop in NYC. They have nice details which make the comfy shoes chic and stylish!
Are they true to size?
They run 1/4 to 1/2 size up. I buy my normal size (US 6) and can wear thick winter socks. If you are half size, you are safe to buy 1/2 down!

Hi all! Any plan for the last weekend in 2012? After took a long break for Christmas, I worked in the past 3 days.

Though the vest looks bulky, it can be easily layered underneath a coat. Is its long raccoon fur collar like a scarf?
It is on sale at $646.20 in Saks Fifth Avenue and the item number is 0822508999224. It may be even cheaper if you can get it with an extra 50% off (let us say new year day or later during consolidation sale). However, due to the economy rebound people bought them with >$1000... It was sold out in many stores already. It is $719 at www. vince.com as FINAL SALE. Mine is size small (xs was sold out in SFA company) and fits well. I tried a medium size one in store and found the arm holes were a little bit big for me, even as an oversized vest. Be aware that this vest is made with fur (only hair) on knits without lining, and you may not be able to do any alteration of size.
It is hard to tell the color indoor where it is just like black. By the way, I wore it with crimson (light weight sweater and ankle boots) yesterday.

Hi all, after 10-day wait, I received both my fox fur vests (DVF and Vince). Both of them are super soft and well made. I decided to keep both. They not only have different styles and functions (I will introduce both of them in this and the next post), but also are worth the investment. Do you notice how much the price goes up this year?
You have different choices to wear this vest: with skinny jeans and boots (as Michelle paired here), or with pencil / flare leg jeans and heels. For my height (5'4), I prefer the later pairing. What is your preference in wearing a fur vest? I added a skinny belt to create a peplum top look, which may also help to elongate the legs. Instead of flare leg jeans, a mini skirt or shirt dress will also be good choices for this vest. I can't wait to experiment different pairings... Do you have any other suggestions?
