We had a great time in NYC, satisfying food cravings, enjoying shopping and museum, and catching up with friends. However, for us, life in Boston seems to be much easier than that in Manhattan. I prefer to a lazy life, driving-parking-shopping...... without waiting for a taxi or taking crowded subway.
My order of DVF fox fur vest arrived today (see here for the same vest on Michelle). It is size small rather than medium as I thought to be. I tried it on immediately, and was impressed AGAIN by its softness, air light weight and pretty color.
The measurement of this DVF vest (size small) is: 37 '' bust, 21'' from shoulder to hem and 11'' from armpit to hem. I am still waiting for my Vince fox fur vest (size small) then will make a decision.
In a previous post, I was asked for a review of the pink SAM EDELMAN pumps. I can easily handle these pointed & skinny heel pumps (4''). I walked in them for couple hours last time and the experience was not bad. They do have nice arch support. However, for 4'' heels without any platform, you may not expect them to be as comfy as flats or low heels. To be honest, I won't wear them out all day without a pair of flats in my bag (this is my rule for most high heel pumps actually). They have leather (suede) upper and synthetic lining & sole. I bought my normal shoe size. They are $60 in Neiman Marcus right now (item # 017119234127) and more colors are available on Amazon (here). If you are looking for a pair of pumps in a fun color, for dinner or party, this pair could be a choice. They are not the best, but definitely worth $60.
